About ME
I'm actually a classic twin. I have two sides. On the one hand, I like to be at home and enjoy quiet time with my family. On the other hand, I love being out and about, traveling and exploring. I also love cycling in all its facets. Of course, nothing makes my heart beat faster than a beautiful high alpine trail, but even if I prefer technical terrain, I also like to ride simple, playful trails or roll along the bike path at a leisurely pace. When I travel, I like to go to regions that are less well developed and I don't try to plan everything in advance. There should still be a little room for spontaneity and adventure. I come from a competitive environment and love the "thrill" of competitions, but at the same time I enjoy the freedom to do whatever I like and don't like to be "pinned down" to one discipline.

How I got into biking ...
I have always been fascinated by everything that moves on wheels. My father had a big influence on me here, he used to ride rally bikes and then a lot of motorcycles. When I was about 11, he bought a motorcycle trial that I was allowed to ride - and at the same time I got to know bike trials. That was my real introduction to the bike world.
The best bike Region is ...
Davos Klosters - no question. Yes, I'm lucky enough to have a cooperation with this region, but regardless of that, it's simply a dream there. Personally, I prefer hiking trails in high alpine terrain, and there's more than enough of that there. Combined with the numerous lifts and the bike-friendly infrastructure, this makes it the best bike region for me!

My coolest bike experience was ...
That's difficult, there's almost too much, I'd suggest we settle on two . I did a trials show on the main stage with the trials bike at a rock festival in Dubai, in front of 15,000 spectators. That was pure rock star feeling! And my best bike trip was probably a trip to Guatemala with my childhood idol Hans "No Way" Rey and photographer Stefan Voitl. It was a nice mix of really good and dusty trails, a few days of adventure on the Huehuetenango plateau and a charity project for "Wheels 4 life".
When I'm not biking ...
Then I try to make good use of the time. On the one hand, I spend a lot of time with my family, which of course also happens on the bike from time to time. Or I spend time working on my bikes and getting them back in shape. And of course I also spend enough time in front of the Mac to work through emails and plan projects.
