ANDREA GARIBBO IS VICE WORLD CHAMPION EDR-E
Our HAIBIKE athlete Andrea Garibbo made history:
At the very first E-Enduro World Championship in Canazei, he sensationally won the title of Vice World Champion! With an impressive performance and a lot of passion, he secured his place on the podium and was able to celebrate on Sunday!

But despite the cold snap, Andrea remained highly focused and motivated. He was particularly proud to ride in front of a home crowd - a highlight for him and his teammate Alia Marcellini.
The varied and technically demanding stages of the race suited him, especially the two power stages, in which he was able to show off his strengths.

ONSET OF WINTER IN SEPTEMBER
The races, which were originally scheduled for Saturday, September 14th, were postponed to Sunday, September 15th due to a sudden change in the weather and massive snowfall.
The unexpected onset of winter in the middle of September presented the athletes with a real challenge: With freezing temperatures and strong winds, the races became a real feat of strength. The riders had to give it their all to achieve their best performance in the extreme conditions.

The other HAIBIKE athletes Rob Williams (UK) and Alia Marcellini (ITA) finished 27th and 7th.
Anna Spielmann (AT) was unable to compete due to an injury.
