RACING: ROB WILLIAMS, ALIA MARCELLINI AND ANNA SPIELMANN COMPLETE THE RACING TEAM

HAIBIKE is stepping up its involvement in eRacing in 2023. As an eMTB pioneer, HAIBIKE will be competing with five athletes - including in the E-Bike World Tour and the Enduro-E (EDR-E), which will emerge from the EWS-E. It is the new racing format for eMountain bikes and will have the status of a UCI Mountain Bike World Cup. Alongside DHI Downhill, XCO Cross-Country Olympic Distance, XCC Cross-Country Short Track, XCM Cross-Country Marathon and EDR Enduro, it completes the series of elite mountain bike races. In addition to Andrea Garibbo and Léa Deslandes, who have been riding for HAIBIKE for several years, Alia Marcellini, Anna Spielmann and Rob Williams will be competing for the HAIBIKE team from the 2023 season.

HAIBIKE WELCOMES TOM ÖHLER TO THE HAIBIKE FAMILY

The HAIBIKE team is pleased to welcome Austrian Tom Öhler as a new athlete. Tom Öhler is no stranger to the bike scene: He rode his first trials competitions back in 1997, launching his career in professional sport. In 2008, Tom crowned this with the BIU BikeTrial World Championship title. In the same year, the new HAIBIKE athlete began to concentrate on trial shows and media projects. Since 2011 his focus has been more and more on MTB, using his unique skills and showing his versatility on social media. The eBike has also long been an integral part of the two-time world record holder's life - he has been riding a HAIBIKE since 2023.

HYBE: EXTRA CLASS eMTB

With its impressive character and outstanding features, the race-oriented HAIBIKE HYBE sets new standards in the eMTB segment. Specially developed for racing and equipped with top components, the eMTB impresses in terms of both performance and design. The HYBE offers a top-class riding experience and optimum performance on any terrain. It is based on the AllMtn platform with slightly modified geometry, making it the ultimate racing machine for all riders.

With its innovative and incomparable concept of a removable battery system with a closed downtube and new kinematics, HAIBIKE is ushering in a new era of light eMTBs with the LYKE. The German Innovation Award honors products, projects and pioneering achievements that sustainably improve life through innovation and progress. Our AllMtn CF SE was also chosen as one of THE innovations of the year 2022.

We decided that standing still was not an option at this point. Nothing could curb our hunger for more adventure. We broke the boundaries irrevocably. And opened up a new sport and unexplored horizons in the process. We have created a category for all riders, regardless of age and ability. We give everyone the power to get the best out of themselves.

10 YEARS OF RADICAL ELECTRIFICATION - TENTH ANNIVERSARY WITH A SPECIAL EDITION: THE HAIBIKE ALLMTN SE

It has now been ten seasons since HAIBIKE entered the eBike segment in 2010 with the eQ XDURO. To honor this, HAIBIKE has introduced the ALLMTN SE. The special edition not only has special written on it, but also conceals a special bike: the frame is made entirely of carbon and finished with a special paint job, Öhlins suspension, PW-X2 mid-motor from Yamaha and the matching battery from Yamaha with a capacity of 600 watt hours. A fitting birthday celebration!

NEW eBIKE RACE SERIES: MAIN SPONSOR OF THE E-BIKE WORLD TOUR

With HAIBIKE as the main sponsor, the E-Bike World Tour was launched - a new dimension in cycling to further promote the sport of e-biking: a race series for e-bike athletes in which the best of the best compete by crossing high alpine terrain and tackling different terrains in several stages for time - the steepest uphills and most challenging downhills. Our HAIBIKE athletes Andrea Garibbo and Lea Deslandes have also secured several titles here.

ALLMTN 6 AND 7: NEW SPORTY TRAIL SPEARHEADS ON THE MARKET

One for all, that's how HAIBIKE announces its new eMTBs with Yamaha drive. The two new AllMtn 6/AllMtn 7 models are the brand's first bikes that are fully dedicated to fun on the trail and performance off-road. To this end, the developers have created a completely new frame platform that houses the powerful Yamaha PW-X2 drive. The carbon main frame, carbon rear triangle, carbon rocker arm, completely revised geometry and more progressive kinematics are impressive!

BOSCH GEN 4 - REVOLUTIONARY NEW FRAME DESIGN

The new extraordinary Bosch Gen 4 frame design clearly stands out from its predecessors. The aim was to continue the proven HAIBIKE rear suspension kinematics and at the same time enable the integration of a range extender for all frame sizes. The new frame shape impresses with an extremely low center of gravity and increased stiffness, enabling more agile handling for even more riding fun. In addition, the integration of a range extender is now possible as an option for all frame sizes S-XL

WELCOME TO THE TEAM YANNICK GRANIERI

HAIBIKE welcomes a new biker to the team: Yannick Granieri - one of the world's best MTB slopestyle and freeride riders. The Frenchman is a real all-rounder in the sport and has been one of the top riders at international and national level for years. He even launched his own successful contest - the "Red Bull Backyard Digger". Yannick's unique style is legendary, especially his flair for big jumps. Together with HAIBIKE, he has been exploiting the full potential of eMountain biking since 2019 and is fascinating the scene with his ePerfomance.

TOM CARDY BECOMES PART OF THE HAIBIKE FAMILY

Crowned UK Dirt Jump Champion in 2014, Tom Cardy won both the overall series and the world championship of the European FMB World Tour. In addition to numerous competitions in the UK and Europe, he has taken part in bike shows at prominent events such as the F1 Grand Prix, the London Bike Show and even the Tour de France. After discovering eMTBs in 2019 through his friend and fellow Slope Style rider Sam Pilgrim, he began exploring the full potential of the eBike and sharing his experiences in creative content via his social media. Since then, he has been inspiring and inspiring the community as a HAIBIKE athlete.

SAM PILGRIM NOW PERFORMS
FOR THE EPERFORMANCE
PIONEER HAIBIKE

The British Freeride champion Sam Pilgrim now also counts on ePerformance and will use the full potential of the XDURO line in order to redefine the limits of eMountainbikes. With his custom-made Haibike Jump Bike, Pilgrim will attend several events of the FMB World Tour. On his social media plattforms, where he has over 500,000 followers up to now, he will demonstrate 'what’s possible on an ebike with new tricks and big jumps' with adrenalin-fuelled videos.

HAIBIKE INTRODUCES THE MODULAR RAIL SYSTEM AND INTUBE BATTERY CONCEPT

The Modular Rail System (MRS) makes it possible to mount different components easily and quickly on the bike. The upper side of the down tube features an integrated mounting rail on which you can freely decide where to mount for example bottles or bags. Our new InTube Battery Concept (IBC) offers a new level of integration, aesthetic beauty and functionality. It is offered for a wider range of our products.

GARY AND RACHEL CORBETT SET NEW DISTANCE RECORDS

An Australian couple quits their jobs, sells their house, and leaves for Europe to set a new long distance world record on eBikes. German national Max Semsch set the previous record on his “Around-Oz“ tour on a Haibike. The two Australians discover their passion for eBiking and keep on riding. Haibike follows their journey and declares them Haibike heroes. Because they are!

HAIBIKE PRESENTS eCONNECT

Haibike goes digital and connects eMTBs through eConnect, opening doors to a new digital era. eConnect is a small device that is integrated into the eBike and sends and receives data. This offers functions like GPS based theft control, bike localization, a riding log, and exporting rides possible. All of your riding information can be viewed and managed on a special smart phone application. Haibike paves the way for smart ePerformance bikes.

PRO ANDI WITTMANN SWITCHES TO HAIBIKE

Another pro switches to Haibike: German national Andi Wittman is one of the world’s best dirt bikers, who currently holds the world record in high jump, organizes bike events, and is so fit he wants to get into the Enduro race scene. After a horrible crash, Andi can no longer compete professionally, but during his tough fight back onto the bike he discovers eBikes.

HAIBIKE INTEGRATES THE DISPLAY INTO THE STEM

Another step toward integration: Haibike develops a new stem designed around the display for its European customers. The display is seamlessly integrated into the stem and protected from damage.

GUIDO TSCHUGG SWITCHES TO HAIBIKE AND AN eBIKE

Guido is one of the most famous German mountain bikers. He is a four-time German champion in Dual, six-time German champion in 4Cross, a world championship bronze winner, and the only German to participate at the legendary RedBull Rampage – twice. The likeable Guido Tschugg from the German Allgäu region is the first active professional to switch onto an eMTB and he changes the perception of ePerformance.

THE FIRST eDOWNHILL: THE XDURO DWNHLL PRO

Once again Haibike raises the bar and expands our successful line of longstroke eBikes. With the new XDURO Dwnhll PRO, Haibike presents a downhill bike with a high-performance drive unit that makes the impossible possible: a genuine downhill bike that goes uphill just as well without a lift or shuttle—breaking the limits and creating an unknown range of use. The Dwnhll is a great success from the start. Based on the regular series bikes a Guido Tschugg limited edition is also introduced.

High-ranking visitor at Eurobike: Angela Merkel, the German Federal Chancellor, visits the Haibike booth and asks Susanne and Felix Puello to explain to her the highlights of the brand.

THE XDURO² SUCCEEDS THE LEGENDARY XDURO

Haibike presents a completely new product range at Eurobike. With 37 models the message is clear: Haibike is committed to ePerformance. There are many technical changes as well: a new drive unit and a completely new aluminum frame take XDURO to a new level. Haibike also debuts more important design features: the double bent top tube, the SkidPlate, and the slanted suspension duct.

HAIBIKE INTRODUCES THE SKIDPLATE

A small but important component: the SkidPlate. Made of impact-resistant plastic it protects the motor from damage and scuffs. Haibike is the first manufacturer worldwide to introduce this component with the XDURO² line. Unlike the first XDURO, where the motor was turned toward the inside of the frame, the new motor is mounted underneath the frame and would be unprotected. More and more brands integrate the SkidPlate after that, which slowly became character-defining for sporty eMTBs.

THE FIRST eENDURO: THE HAIBIKE XDURO NDURO

Also introduced this year is another eBike that will change the market: the XDURO Nduro. With 180mm travel it opens up the young sport to completely new terrain and riders.

HAIBIKE GOES ONROAD

For the first time Haibike presents fast and pure road models and transfers its performance focus of the XDURO offroad models to the road. The result is the XDURO Race: the first large-scale production eRunner and the Superrace, a fast Flatbar Runner.

HAIBIKE INTRODUCES “ePERFORMANCE“

A new sport needs a new name—Haibike introduces the term “ePerformance.“ An abbreviation for "electric performance": the combination of pure human (physical) performance and electric support. Even though "ePerformance" is similar to the term “eBike“ it consciously distances itself and sets the main focus on performance to emphasize the basic idea of ePerformance: sporty, performance-oriented eBiking.

RIDES HAIBIKE

Haibike gains a prominent ambassador: the well-known and talented German mountain biker, Sabine Spitz, will ride Haibikes. Sabine successfully competes in the world elite with the new Haibike ProTeam for the next four years. The Sabine Spitz Haibike ProTeam is one of the UCI-Top 3 Teams for a long time.

WINS OLYMPIC SILVER ON HAIBIKE

In her first year with Haibike, Sabine Spitz wins Olympic Silver in London - despite crashing on a steep section of the course.

MAXIMILIAN SEMSCH CIRCLES AROUND AUSTRALIA

German national Maximilian Semsch circles around the Australian continent with his XDURO Trekking. The “Around OZ“ tour is the first of its kind, covering nearly 10,000 miles, and making it the longest tour in the history of the modern eBike. Maximilian is riding a standard XDURO Trekking, which doesn’t show any damage other than two broken spokes, even under extreme conditions and 18lbs of luggage.

THE FIRST ALLMOUNTAIN eBIKE AND HAIBIKE S-PEDELEC

The product range is growing to 17 models. Including the first AllMountain eBike, that will set the future trend of longstroke eBikes with its 150mm suspension travel. Haibike presents a fast 45km/h eBike, the XDURO Trekking S, for the first time. The name affix "eQ" is dropped, the name "XDURO", which is a portmanteu word comprising the words X-Cross & Enduro, becomes the sole model name.

THE FIRST iF AWARD, THE FIRST 29“ eMTB, AND eROAD BIKE STUDY

Design and technology continue to advance. The XDURO RX receives the iF Design Award, one of the most renowned international design awards. The range grows to eleven models, with new versions to come, including the eQ XDURO 29, an eBike that combines two mega trends: 29 inch wheels and eBikes. Also presented at Eurobike 2011 is the XDURO Race, a fast 28mph eRunner, electric road bike. The positive response from professional circles and favorable road tests lead Haibike to include an eRunner in the development for the next season. This is the beginning of a new category: “fast road.”

HAIBIKE BRAND FOUNDED

In 1995, Haibike was founded in the small German city Schweinfurt. In the beginning these sporty bikes were still offered under the name of our parent brand Winora, but soon became Haibike. Over the next 15 years, the brand developed new models and further advanced, both visually and technically.
